Following feedback received during our early consultation and engagement activities, we've made a number of improvements to the SWRTS Project website to make it easier to find information and stay up to date with the project.

You will see a number of changes over the next few weeks as we transform it into a one-stop hub for the SWRTS Project. Some of the changes you can expect are:

  • A new news section: as we move from our first period of consultation and engagement, we will be using this feature to keep you up to date with all of our project milestones
  • A revamped document library: this will make it easier to find documents from past consultations to help you stay informed and navigate our library more easily
  • A community resources page: this will provide information on topics relating to the project, such as what a construction compound looks like or how the water recycling process works, and the different types of work we are doing on the ground. We have also updated our interactive map to make it more user-friendly
  • Engagement opportunities: Information regarding how we are moving through the Development Consent Order (DCO) timeline, and the ways you can get involved outside of formal consultation periods

These improvements reflected the feedback we received during consultation and engagement and demonstrated our ongoing commitment to keeping communities and stakeholders informed as the project continues to develop.
